World War Bee:
Our lemonade style mead. A pleasant balance of tart and sweet. Your summer lemonade has grown up.
ABV: 12.0 %
Recommendations:
Pair with any kind of fish dish: cod, tilapia, haddock, fish tacos, ceviche as well as a creamy cheese. Cheeses to consider: creamy goat cheese (like Humboldt Fog), Brie, Triple Creme
Drink recipes:
Bourbon Stinger (adapted from recipe by Rachel Whitty-Hajj mixologist from Crave Wine Bar)
- 1 part World War Bee mead
- 1 part Bourbon
Mix and add a twist of lemon!
Lemon Mimosa (c/o our friends @Bucciarellis Butcher Shop)
- 1 Part chilled World War Bee
- 1 Part Champagne
Mix and serve in your favorite mimosa glass
World War Bee Hot Toddy (c/o Erica Yeoman)
- World War Bee lemonade mead
- Ginger “hot” tea
- Local honey
Mix all ingredients together and garnish with floating lemon wheel w/ a clove, cinnamon, sugar rim
War & Peace (our own Arnold Palmer)
- 1 Part World War Bee
- 1 Part Ruby Rose tea blend from Soluna Garden farm, brewed strong (or your favorite tea blend)
Blend. This is delicious hot or cold
Tom Collins
- 1-1/2 oz gin
- 2 oz, World War Bee
- 1 TBSP simple syrup
- 3-4 oz club soda
- lemon juice, just a squeeze
- Glass of ice
Pour gin, mead, simple syrup into glass of ice & swirl to mix. Squeeze lemon juice into glass. Add club soda & lemon slice.
Moscow Mule
- 4 oz World War Bee lemonade mead
- 2 oz Vodka
- 12 oz gingerbeer, (or our ginger cider, Ginger )
- Lemon juice, just a squeeze
- Ice & lemon or lime slice for garnish
Mix ingredients, pour over ice and garnish. One bottle of our mead with a half pint of vodka will get you 4 servings of this drink. ... which will leave you w 2 cans of ginger beer for later.
